Well, it's at least a return to blogging for the moment. I have a few minutes between classes that I thought I would use to catch everyone up on what is going on in our lives, with the emphasis on me...of course.
What is new?
SCHOOL - I started this fall at NCMC in Gaylord to get my macro courses with a plan to transfer them to Spring Arbor so I can enroll in their Secondary Teaching program. The classes themselves are not that hard, however, it is the time frame that is killing me. Tues/Thurs, I go to class from 4-10 and then to work and then home to sleep. That wouldn't be so bad except for the whole family bit. I hardly see the girls any more...
I have 11 credit hours...Basic Algebra - 4/World History - 3/ and World Geography - 4. I think I will do alright in these classes because I have two things that most of the students done. Need and context. I need to change my job from what it is now, both physically and emotionally. The context is that I understand what I am working for and how it fits in my life.
CHURCH - As of now, we are churchless. With Toby gone from PRBC, I feel that my primary motive is gone to go to that church, which brings up the secondary - distance. If we were closer, then PRBC would be an option. Actually, I'm excited for them to have new leadership...(I think Toby was ready to go...) Options right now are Pastor Chambers church in Gaylord and Mio Baptist...both we have visited and really felt welcome and in line with their vision.
FAMILY - Amanda is going crazy with our schedules, however, she remains my rock. "I can do all things..." through her. Sounds blasphemous, but I think that is why God gave her to me.
Emma remains a beacon of joy for me. Her innocence and constant sense of wonder makes me want to join her in her life's journey. She is one special child...
Mikayla is growing big...and I mean big. Her personality is shining through and it is as bright as Emma's was...just a little stronger. You have never seen a baby smile as much as she does, yet when she decided to stop smiling...she is much like her mother.
Well, I better run...only another 4 hours to go...before work...gag...
